Can You Dig It?

I created letters for an article about a buried chimpanzee out of ground coffee. What was also a nice additive was that the newspaper was printed on newsprint weekly so the typography for the article came out looking like a legitimate journal of an anthropologist.
    Can you dig it?
That was the same question I asked the journalist who was writing this article.
This is one of my spreads I designed while working for the University Press. I was limited to photographs from the photographers since the anthropology department did not have adequate photos about the main subject of the story. I was inspired by Karim Zariffa's unconventional type he explored with automobile parts. I insisted on creating letters with ground coffee to have a controlled substance other than dirt.
