Bru

For this challenge I created a series of six vector icons using pictures of different teapots found on the Internet. After creating silhouettes of the pots I analyzed how the light fell on the different surfaces and tried to capture the myriad of materials that the pots were made from in the vector by using lines, dotted lines, different sized strokes, and filled shapes. I created a fictitious tea company entitled Bru Tea, and used the teapot icons as the main graphic on the various tea packages that include boxes, individual tea packets, tea hangers, tins, and larger refill bags to show how the icons could be used. I also created a wooden box to display the individually wrapped packets. For the Bru Company I created a logo using a rounded rectangle and the Clarendon typeface to capture a classic essence. I chose a muted color palette to capture the feel of an old tea house.
