The idea was simple: to create a logo to help promote Temple Israel Brotherhood's annual trip to a Detroit Tigers game. My mission was to promote the trip as the high-point of the group's summer activities. Being an avid fan myself, it was easy to envision the stately typography, with an image of the field at Comerica park in the background. The 'pennant'-like flourish at the bottom rounded the design out. I crafted the logo so it would be easy to update whatever team the Tigers happened to be playing that year.
