  • Fresh air on campus
In 2008, the University of Minnesota Duluth became an entirely smoke-free campus. UMD Health Services wanted to promote change in the culture of the university, rather than attempting to implement enforcement strategies.

I was tasked with branding and designing a multi-faceted educational campaign. “Breathe Free UMD” posters were posted across campus and students were supplied "Breathe Free UMD" cards to hand to smokers as a reminder of the policy. The campaign continues to grow as student health education groups work to further support and awareness of the smoking ban.
