The Body Shop has been committed to producing ethical beauty since it
opened. Designed to promote The Body Shop’s values, this campaign
embodies strength, independence, and attitude. Inspired by propaganda
style messages from the 1940’s and 1950’s, the background posters
represent old ideals or an easier way of doing things. The stickers
placed on top of this imagery reassert the ethical choice and represent
the strength and power consumers have. Made to look like someone placed
the sticker on top of an existing poster, the posters encourage
customers to question the status quo and stand up for what is right.
