- Behind Burgundy Curtains
The Beginning - I was facing toward a window while afternoon sun rays glistened through burgundy drapes creating a flood of Indian red radiance that poured into my cubical space. In a room as wistful and preoccupied as four closed-ivory canvases, I sat on a wooden chair while my lens sharpened onto a rose-filtered glass cork bottle that stood at the edge of my desk. My finger pressed onto a black circle on a Canon instrument to capture a reflection of my world.

Rose-Filtered Glass Bottle
Psychologist, J.S. Beer demonstrated her discovery in the use of human frontal lobes by quoting the phrase, "rose-colored glass". Apparently, the less you use your frontal lobes, the more you see things more pleasant than it really is.This image illustrates how a person can be stuck inside a glass bottle where it appears pleasant when outside that glass is reality--desaturated.
