Description
Creation and direction of Stay Sexy ad campaign for Babeland. Campaign was designed to overcome unique challenges faced by the brand: 1) ad outlet censorship of adult content (e.g. showing the products), 2) perception of Babeland as a traditional sex shop, 3) communicate the feminist, sex-positive ethos of the company mission. To these ends we chose a photographer, models, and copy that would embody the human joy and warmth of feeling connected and satisfied.
  • Print ads appear in glossy magazines, newsprint, and as posters in Babeland cities. 
  • Store window banners and signage also carry the campaign. Babeland Brooklyn with two summer banners is shown here.
  • Banner comps and schedule for the Babeland LES store.
  • Interior signage in stores makes use of the same imagery and senitment but looks slightly different. Comps for two-sided overhead signs for Babeland Seattle are shown here.
  • The signage installed in the store during the Moregasm book launch party.
