A conceptual abstraction poster series of Iowa State University's King Pavilion, an extension on the College of Design. The three abstractions had to serve as functional posters, such as being sponsored by an organization or a lecture series, and incorporate text that was relevant to the building. Chuck Palahniuk's, the author of Fight Club, quote was used on these posters to represent the long nights spent working on design projects in one of the only buildings open 24/7 on campus. The quote describes the need for finding someone who is equally addicted to themselves, when actually the mutual addiction becomes not a person, but the design work itself. As a satire, the posters are sponsored by the fictional "King Pavilion Design Sweatshop Worker's Union."
