EXP Con would like to position itself as the premier anime convention in North Florida. To set itself apart it need a logo and a convention guide to let convention go-ers know even though they were at a smaller event they were still getting the full anime convention experience.
Using the very dynamic and colorful design styles of Japanese anime and video game publications the EXP Con logo and convention guide gets fans excited about the event they’re attending. It’s the first thing handed to guests as they enter the convention center and appropriately sets the tone.
In true manga style (Japanese comics from which most animes are derived) the guide reads from back to front.
Backgrounds are composited from several existing manga comics.
