Experimenting with the layout + form of the text within the "page." Aiming to shift focus onto the viewer's interaction + experience.
  • This is typographic experiments with a 5 page narrative about how a poet sees the world. The focus was to reformat the information into a way that enhances the meaning and focuses on viewer interaction.
  • the inital form. 5 pages of 8.5 x 11.
  • starting to work with overlaying pages and pulling out verbs as a dominate part of the format.
  • using resume paper to add the personal touch/uniqueness of poetry.
  • focusing on the movement of the letters and overlay.
  • detail of overlapping pages, slightly blurring out the second page.
  • the simple movement of text with the slight adjustment of page angle orientation.
  • dimensions 24 inches by 36 inches.
  • detail shot of dream colored letters; not quite different enough until up close.
  • overlapping three pages of different text opacity.
  • dimension of 66 inches by 48 inches.
  • overlapping the two 66 inches by 48 inches posters on the light table.
  • detail of the overlapping posters on the light table, bringing in the hard lines of the paper tiling.
  • focused composition shot of one phrase from the poster.
  • focusing on the texture of the ink to the paper to the overlay of paper on the light table.
  • using the overlap of the paper tiling with the texture of the ink and the layout.
