Akron Fossil Museum
We were instructed to create a visual identity for a museum of our choice and to include a logo, advertisements, and other 2D and 3D components. I chose the Akron Fossil Museum and created a typographic logo whose letter forms are clear without being detailed. The promotional mailers use transparency paper to depict a skeleton when closed and reveal a reconstructed illustration of the creature when opened. An additional gift shop artifact appeals to children while remaining educational.
