Proposed branding and design that I created for an ALDI international line of outdoor gear that focuses on creating a harmonious connection between nature and human experience. The logo reflects all aspects of Adventuridge. Hiking and climbing are represented by the “A” transformed into a mountain, the tree for camping, and the bird for enjoyment of nature. Visual references of different terrains and landscapes that you encounter using the gear are used for the backgrounds of the packaging. This enhances the human experience aspect, and are specific to that product’s use.
Since the products were going to be sold internationally in various languages the packaging needed to easily communicate the specifications and use while not becoming over technical. To achieve this I designed a versatile set of icons that are visually recognizable and allows for easy adaptation in any language.
