    Over the years we have helped shape their brand with an updated visual identity, photography, advertisements, and web design.
  • “Do the right thing” is the ethos behind the Merriman’s brand, setting the tone for how the restaurants and their workers take care of their guests, each other, and the earth.
  • The brand collateral conveys a sophisticated simplicity with leather-bound drink menus and printed card-stock food menus that are easily updatable as the seasons change.
  • Photography is a crucial element to brand identity. We worked closely with Steve Czerniak to art direct the look and feel of Merriman’s food and lifestyle photography.
  • palaka pattern was introduced into the Merriman’s Honolulu location to juxtapose the rustic heritage of ranchers with the urban landscape of Kaka‘ako.

    For decades, Peter Merriman has worked directly with local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen to create a sustainable food chain to provide the freshest ingredients Hawaii has to offer. At each restaurant, they honor local farmers with portraits hung throughout the space.
  • The website was revamped to streamline the user experience. With four restaurants on four different islands, it was critical to make the navigation and reservation system clear and easy to understand.
