  • A Polish Octave
    Part of  the 8x8 Broadside Collaborative Project
  • This was a collaborative piece for an exhibition shown at the Black-Eyed Press LLC, Summer, 2012. Eight artists were paired with eight writers/poets. Each pair had to create an 8x8" print as part of a broadside, combing art and literature. This piece revolves around the number 8: The crab has eight legs, the word seashore has eight letters, and only those eight letters could be used to create the words in the poem.
