"Calder: Nonspace" Exhibition Identity

  • '[The] disparity creates a portal—a dynamic entry to otherness. Those spaces give you the chance to consider these other dimensional experiences, going through that space into another plane, existence, feeling, idea, circumstance.’ - James Jones

A rebrand for Calder: Nonspace, an exhibition which showcased select works by Alexander Calder at Hauser & Wirth, Los Angeles. Playing with expressive typography and negative space derived from his sculptural forms, the exhibition identity is centered around the concept of creating volumes out of voids.
