The Great Writer Series: SOLZHENITSYN

  • Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn (Александр Солженицын; December 1918 – August 2008) was a Russian writer and a staunch critic of the totalitarian regime of the former USSR. This text-heavy 8-page booklet takes you through the life of Solzhenitysn, whose life revolved around seeking truth through literature, which was largely influenced by his experience in the Gulag system. Solzhenitsyn contributed to the literary world by imparting his views on human rights, freedom, dignity, and one's role in society.
