Sought out by Canada’s leading architectural visualization studio, Norm Li, Vanderbrand initiated a full rebrand and brand strategy system with the objective to raise the studio’s profile and increase their presence across North America.
The goal was to appeal to all sectors related to architecture by leaving a memorable impression through brand recognition and brand positioning.
The studio of Norm Li is highly specialized in their field and acquire the best talent to create iconic renderings for various fields of industry. They are also very much in demand, and in order to share this level of quality, a marketing strategy was set in place.
The identity was developed to instil a sense of sophistication and scale. This was achieved by taking a clean and refined approach while incorporating architectural influences. Neutral tones were chosen for the brand palette to allow the work to take prominence in all marketing initiatives. Focusing on the work elevated the studio’s brand positioning to be 'always better'. The key was to demonstrate their ideology without overpowering their work.
We created a large coffee table book as the main marketing tool designed to land on the desks of every top executive in fields related to residential, institutional, hospitality, infrastructure, and retail. Alongside the book a customized handwritten note was delivered to each recipient, signed from the desk of Norm Li. The customized note easily inserted into the book’s belly band made for a complete deliverable for prospective clients.
