In 2017, our client reached out to us about developing the brand experience for his new company, Prmanent. Prmanent is an online furniture retailer that brings Scandinavian-inspired styles and sensibility to the urban American marketplace.
We targeted educated urban professionals, no more than 40 years old, who place an emphasis on creating a home environment that is comfortable and purposeful. The Swedish word “lagom” became a driving force in our brand development process. Lagom means “in perfect balance” and refers to having just what you need, and not more than you don’t.
The visuals for the brand were inspired by the Lagom concept, including the design of the logotype and mark. We designed the mark first and followed through with the logotype, color palette, typestyles, brand persona, and voice. Based on those styles we designed the website landing page, several sets of online display ads, and social media account assets.
