This project is a series of eight posters that portray moments from Emerson's essay on Culture from The Conduct of Life published in 1860. As part of a larger piece consisting of almost 30 posters, these eight seek to contribute a particular angle on publishing. The project posited itself as an exploration in the increasingly diverse and eclectic realm of publishing that no longer has a truly linear definition. Publishing is now constantly in flux with the expansion of media yet this lens intends to carryover the traditions of ink on paper into an array of mediums. Cues from digital publishing and editorial magazines coalesce to create a series that express a certain viewpoint on publishing.
