The Glyph Project

  • The Glyph Project:
As ubiquitous as they are, glyphs remain the underdogs of written communication. They help to reinforce meaning that words cannot do by themselves.

Each composition uses a specific glyph and places it within an environment that plays with blurring the figure ground relationship. The goal is to present a different view for aesthetic contemplation of what we typically think of as an ordinary yet subliminal symbol.

    The following fonts were used:
& (Baserville Italic); @ (Goudy Oldstyle); ? (Bodoni Medium).
