Renault - Get The Megane! / Interactive Reality Show

  • Hedef Megane! (Get the Megane!) is an online reality show with a twist. It's a live "wheel of fortune" format played in real time by the fans and hosted by an intustrial robot you usually see building cars. Not giving them away.

    400 car keys were lined up around the wheel. 399 duds and one live... The grand prize was a brand new Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet, signed by NBA’s all time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

    The rules were simple; The one who finds the right key, wins the car.

    We live streamed the show for 12 hours a day. Each and every day there were 400 spaces in the queuing system allocated on a first come first served basis. After all the slots were taken, players could jump the queue by completing social tasks of various complexity, that were then amplified to their whole cloud in Facebook and Twitter. The project was linked to the largest Renault Facebook community in the world using FB connect, which allowed players and viewers to spread the word.

    We gave away the car on the 8th day / 3511th draw. During its life time of just 8 days, The project reached to more than half a million people, generated over 100.000 interactions and gathered 20.000 new fans to Renault Turkey Facebook page.
