Logotype and Label
Balance is a brand of water that started with very humble origins in Sydney and is now sold in Australia, Asia, America and Europe and operates offices in New York, Sydney and Cologne. The client contacted us to design a premium label that was meant to be sold in the JFK airport (New York) and on few airlines.
After the brief with the client the keywords where:
I took inspiration from old travel pictures, turn of the XX century, I had the constant image of the orient express in mind while working on this project. It was a period characterized by optimism, regional peace, economic prosperity and technological, scientific and cultural innovations.
I wanted a minimal design as much as possible. Replacing the A with a drop of water I obtained the brand I was looking for, a direct and functional approach but without a lack of creativity.
I choose to divide the label in three parts: front, side, back. On the front there's the brand name, on the side a flower composition. On the back all the technical information.
