    About Project

Toc toc (Knock Knock) is a connected object that was made for a one week Arduino workshop at Strate School of Design in Paris France by 4 students. While looking for a room to brainstorm on our Arduino project, we realized that we lost so much time figuring out which room was available, or if it was busy, how long it would still be busy for. The only way to know was to stick an ear on the door to try to listen if there was a class inside or open the door and disturb the class, not super convenient right? So there it was! Knock Knock. The concept is pretty simple: One Knock Knock on every classroom's door. Pass your hand in front of the sensors and if it lights up green, it's free, and if it's another color, you know it is occupied by another class (every major can have its own color). You can know how long the class is still going on for by looking at the number of leds that are lighting on (1 led = 30min). Knock Knock, who's there?
