    public murals & website
  • I designed public murals and a microsite for the Yucatán, México's state government office which works directly with immigrants and their families in the US and Yucatán. The intent was to provide an overview of their services, contacts, and demystify a small and perhaps confusing government agency. The site provides a human face to the issue of immigration while remaining respectful to constituents, services, and the subject matter of immigration. This site was live from 2006–2007, until a new state administration came into power.
  • Detail of mural in Santa Elena, using typography to share statistics in an engaging way.
  • This front page of the site shows Yucatecan youth who work in San Francisco in everyday life to humanize immigration.
