Work completed at 3 Fish in a Tree:
This work was completed for an architectural practice based in Liverpool, London and Berlin. This idea uses EW site plans as the basis for the brand image/logo. By using these simple, block shapes you can clearly see that EW create their buildings to be fit for purpose depending on its use/site etc.
The primary colour palette gives the brand dynamism and boldness, it also refers to EW getting the basics right and expanding from them . These shapes can easily be updated to keep the brand fresh as well as making them specific to certain projects by using the appropriate site map. The hoarding for a building in construction, for instance, could be generated from its siteplans and is therefore inextricably tied to its surroundings. The separation/stencilling of the logo mimics the separated shapes of the graphics and tools of the trade. The slashes in the logotype also look back on EW’s current logo and the history of the company.
