TEDx Grand Rapids Branding 2015

  • The 2015 iteration of the TEDx Grand Rapids brand centered on the term “Constant/Change.” In an effort to flip the conversation around innovation, the TEDx team desired to focus on what can be learned from homeostasis. Inspired by the paradox of using the terms “constant” and “change" in conjunction, we explored themes around duality and binary opposition. We created a system that is graphically black and white, but also embraces the grey areas that often make us uncomfortable. Intentionally divorcing the 2015 identity from the iconic use of TED red signified the different approach to this year’s dialogue.
