We were thrilled when Sundance TV asked us to develop the look and feel of their branded content series Framed, mostly because we spend a large part of our time watching movies and TV. Framed focuses on one scene and deconstructs the choices of the director in his or her own words, giving insight into the creative process.
The first spot in the series focused on a scene from the Sundance original show Rectify. We interviewed director Stephen Gyllenhaal developed an accompanying graphic system to tell the story of the show, the scene, and the context in under :30 seconds, quite a feat since we had over an hour of material. Luckily, we had an awesome Sundance client team and our brilliant audio engineer Liz Fausak to help us craft the final spot. Voila!
