BBDO approached Jam3 to help conceptualize ideas for Visa’s “Visa Infinite” presence at TIFF 2013. Through extensive brainstorming, we landed on a concept that involved recording an “infinite story” as created by people who visited a Visa video booth. We would create a video booth, that allowed each user to record a 5 second segment of a much greater, ever evolving story.
Morgan Freeman recorded the first line of each story, but it was up to the TIFF visitors to create the rest. It was my responsibility to design an app installed in an interactive booth that allowed users to record 5 second clips, as well as a web experience that uploaded the clips live during the event to viewers not at the festival. I also had the opportunity to design the physical booth itself as well as the exterior graphics. The entire experience as a huge success and drew lineups around the block.
