Objective: Create a new identity application system and brand guideline for an airline. Students will be responsible for the creation of a logo and applications including: stationery, poster, website, livery, coffee mug, etc. These applications should have a consistent look & feel with the guideline.
Solution: Hawaiian Airlines has been serving people from and to Hawaii for more than 70 years, as they are expanding their fleets and serving new destinations, it would be a great opportunity for a stronger, more modern upgrade of the current identity. I used colors inspired by the tropical elements of Hawaii and applied patterns to create a welcoming feeling of the Aloha State, but retaining the spirit of the brand—the Pualani lady.
