In September 2009 the city of Sydney, Australia, woke up to a red day. A large dust stom as wide as 600 miles had covered the entire city of Sydney and it's neighbours. This event was the result of extreme waether patters in eastern Australia. With the Global Climate Change such patterns might form more frequently and intensly. Therfore it would be not a suprise for other cities around the world to experience this type of sand storm.
Traveing in the South West of United States last year I thought "what might happen if a similar sand storm would form around LasVegas or SanFrancisco." For that I edited the pictures I had taken from these two cities to look like they were struck by the storm.
Is this what our future would look like?
