Review on Tuesday, Finish for Thursday
You will make a series or sequence, in whatever format you think appropriate, and at any length you think is useful/right, that explores the nature of typographic matter in abstraction. You will develop formal designs to express visual narrative, in sequence. Focus on contrast, linearity, form, counterform. Your medium is largely photocopies or print-outs, your color palette is black and white, your tools are knives, glue, paper. What will you make considering this project’s objectives and the limited methodology?
