Who remembers the "Harold and the Purple Crayon" Books? I've always loved the series for the way it shows creativity as a bridge to new and exciting universes. I created this faux title sequence for the would-be film adaptation of the books. I wanted to communicate an upbeat feeling of endless possibilities, and the simple pleasure of opening a big box of crayons for the first time. I used the name of some popular actors to fill out the credits. In my version, Harold would be an adult who rediscovers the purple crayon as a way to put things in perspective and improve his life.
