After enjoying a career in broadcast radio covering professional sports for over twenty years... I got back into sports radio. Here's how it happened. After twenty years of radio, mostly sports radio I embarked on a career in the creative field of graphic design. I graduated from The Art Institute of California-San Diego in March of 2011. In June of 2012 I was hired to work as a show producer and on air personality at XTRA Sports 1360. The opportunity to be creative and enhance my branding skills has allowed me to smile almost every minute! This opportunity will allow me to combine my radio experience and graphic design skills. I'm so stoked!

There are a few things I have enjoyed since I was a child, drawing, listening to the radio, collecting good music and baseball. Yet it was a personal goal of mine to attain a degree. It was too late to become a doctor, so I thought I would do my part by saving the world by trying to make people smile more. That's my goal with art, design and creativity. I aim to accomplish that goal everyday I wake up. When I started at the Art Institute I had no experience in computer graphics, I have learned a lot since day one and always-learning new things everyday. Being creative, illustrating and character design are my strongest attributes yet I am seeking new ways and opportunities to enhance my design skills. During my re-inventing period, I have gone in different directions in design. From designing corporate collateral, consulting, drawing etc. Everyday I look forward to strengthening my design skills with others or on my own. I always look forward to meeting new people within this professional field to learn more and to be inspired to compose really cool things that inspire and make man/women/girl/boy/dog/cat/etc. smile.
