Derek Colin Goodman is currently a freelance artist working from the metropolis that is Chicago, IL.
He was born in Nashville, TN (The South) circa 1978. Derek was a happy go-lucky youngster, captivated by movies and comic books, often dreaming up stories of far off places, and drawing Superman in the margins of his books. Derek has spent his life since then pursuing artistic endeavors in writing, comic books, digital illustration, graphic design, and classical fine art.
Derek holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago as well as an AFA in Fine Arts from Watkins Institute College of Art & Design.
He is currently fluent in over 15 guitar chords.
