Artist/Designer, Denise Nicole Francis
was born and raised in a small town in
Florida called Titusville,but was brought
up in a Caribbean atmosphere by her
Antiguan parents. She found her love
for art early at a small private grammar
school. She continued to consider her
art a hobby through-out middle and high
school, and later finished a Bachelor of
Science and Masters in Architecture at
Florida A&M University. Now residing in
the Atlanta area, which introduced her to
designing in a bigger city atmosphere,
Denise continues to draw inspiration
through her style of observation which is
critical to her perspective of the human
condition, environment, and spiritual
connections. Currently she is a MFA
graphic design student at Savannah College
of Art and Design - Atlanta.
Francis is fond of projects that force
imagination usage and believes that
designers have the opportunity to
contribute something good to the world
whether its important social issues a
simple source for spontaneous happiness.
She is inspired by feel good music,
geometric shapes, handmade objects,
and lavish color palettes. She aims to live
by the optimistic idea to embrace what
you have and create what you want.
