I'm a soon-to-be graduate from NC State University's college of design with a Bachelor's of Science in Graphic Design. I have been thoroughly trained in traditional print media, including letterpress techniques, hand-stitched and hand-bound publication production, and large-scale plotting processes. My design decisions are rooted in the content and context of the design problem, resulting in visual elements that not only satisfy an aesthetic need, but a practical need as well. I also have training in branding, service, and experience design with a knowledge of what is and is not working in today's design trends.

Although I do have more experience with print and packaging design, I am striving to learn more about web, interaction, and user experience design. I find the idea of designing for accessibility and quick navigation extremely interesting. From smartphone apps, to site navigation, to wayfinding projects, I truly appreciate the ability of visuals to guide the user through an efficient and effective path. And above all, I appreciate great typography. Who's to say kerning can't be a hobby?
