About
Years ago, while I was crossing a street on one rainy blustery day in Manhattan, a person screamed at me, “BETTER WEAR A HAT!” At first it amused me but then later that day that phrase kept rolling around in my head until it became clear what the person was yelling: It wasn’t merely a loud suggestion to protect against rain, it was a directive for how to live life!
Hats and lots of them.
It’s pretty hard to quantify all that I do: Commercial Digital Artist probably comes the closest. I graduated from college with a degree in graphic design and illustration back when macs were in the Apple II stage of life. That’s a long, long time ago, isn’t it? How scary.
But since that time I’ve learned to adapt to the whims of industry and wear many different hats. I’ve worked for 20 years in the New York City advertising and graphic design field as an art director, a production person, and as a digital retoucher. I also am skilled in web design (joomla, wordpress, CSS, PHP, Flash, etc.).
But in 2008, once the majority of my clients worked solely over the web with me, I no longer needed to be trapped in the high cost of living confines of NYC, so I put on a cowboy hat and headed west to Portland, Oregon. (…of course once I arrived I found that everyone here in Portland wears either a pork pie hipster hat or a wool cap.)
Never the less, here I sit in Portland, happily working away with clients from all over the country who value my willingness to adapt to their demands and who enjoy the ease of working with me. Thanks to all my years of being in this business, there’s very little that I haven’t dealt with or haven’t a solution to.
Enjoy my galleries of work. Feel free to contact me if you have a question or would like to see my resume. Plus if you need something created on a ridiculously quick turnaround, toss my name into the hat.

Digital Imaging
I run a digital imaging business that has been servicing clients
around the country since 2005. I also have been working
in the Advertising/Design field for the past 20 years as a Designer,
Retoucher and Web designer.
In terms of experience, I've worked for and continue to work with
a variety of Large and small agencies and clients (FCB, BBDO-NY, Uniworld, Oxford Communications) in New York and New Jersey. In terms of projects , I have
created imagery from Fashion to Automotive to Food product artwork for
almost every major blue chip client out there: Unilever, Gillette, Target,
AT&T, Bank of America, as well as the USPS and the USMC, to name a
few. In 2004, I also did a brief stint in San Francisco working on Apple product retouching.
in 2008, I moved my business to one of the most wired cities
on the west coast: Portland, Oregon. And from here I continue to successfully work
with my east coast clients with an adjusted work day to meet their schedules.
(9am- 7pm EST = 6am - 4pm PST). So you never have to worry
about me meeting your deadlines.
In terms of file transfer and safety, I have two different webservers that
I use for double back up, plus my business broadband connection
averages 5mps up/20mps down-which translates into faster file transfers than
a T1 connection so you never have to worry about waiting around to see
my files.
