Andrew Maniotes was born in Munster, IN. He received a BFA in Visual Communications and a BFA in Photography from Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and an MFA in Visual Studies from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Additionally he studied graphic design in the Netherlands. Maniotes began teaching at EMU in 2002. His graphic design practice often focuses on promotions, including serving as the Eastern Michigan University Galleries design director.
