About
Engaging typography, enthralling illustrations and well tracked body copy are just a few things that make me tick as a designer. I'm Samantha Mack, currently a graphic design student at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

In my work, I strive to make everything original in a piece from utilizing my own photography in my annual report to illustrating the imagery on my book jacket redesign. I draw inspiration from the fine arts, mostly drawing, and enjoy exploring the vast range of artistic photography. My approach to design is to try it all. I tend to make pieces that lean towards a more simple aesthetic approach, but I’m not afraid to arrange numerous elements in a composition to make a cohesive piece.

Taking a new approach for each project is how I grow as a designer. My philosophy is: a powerful piece speaks to the client, the designer and engages the audience to create an emotional response.
