I am graduating in Spring of 2012 with a BFA in Graphic Design from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. I have a minor in drawing and have taken studio classes involved with painting and printmaking.
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. I was an active child, participating in both ballet and hockey through my younger years and volleyball and track as I got older. I still have a passion for each an every one of these sports. Sometimes my passion is visible seen within my fine art.
I have been working in the design field since a class in 8th grade. I was introduced to the world of Graphic Arts through QuarkXPress, an offset printing press, and screen printing. I enjoyed it so much I continued working with it through high school, printing the school paper on the press and working in the dark room. Because of these hand on qualities I fell in love with the world of design and handmade work.
